Are We Getting Our Moneys Worth

For years we've been paying American farmers not to grow crops. The original idea was probably to cause a shortfall in the normal supply resulting in supporting an artificially higher price in the marketplace. Milton and Rose Friedman should be glad they are in the ground. It was a bad idea then, and it's a bad idea now.

70 some years ago Germany and Japan viciously attacked America. So we and our allies bombed the beetlejuice out of them. The two enemy countries were devastated. They were bombed, bombed, and re-bombed. Most urban buildings were utterly destroyed. Most or their national infrastructure, industrial power base, and at least one generation of young men were erased from the World. So, after the backslapping, after the champagne, America decided to rebuild our enemies and snub our noses at our allies and other friends. Make sense to you?

Now, despite billion dollar bribes, the middle east is aflame. After years of well intended foreign aide, the people are starving, without fresh water, have no industrial base and only two products: oil and poppy juice. A close look displays rampant corruption,    medieval societies, grossly rich plunderers, governments that actively squash the female gender, and more hugely disgusting innocent deaths than the Holocaust.

Today, it's Egypt in the news. Tommorrow it will be Syria. Then Iran. Then Lebanon. Then Ethiopia, Then Libya. Then Qatar. And the list will start all over again. Civilized people around the globe understand exactly what has caused the middle east blood to explode. Greed, ignorance, and Islam. Three little words that mean "disaster".

All of the middle eastern nations/kingdoms/dictatorships and military forces - point at the U.S.A. They just did what they had to do. We are the instigators. America supplied the most armaments, weapons, foods, medical supplies, and money for the leaders. Of course we are the cause of the unrest.
