Lost in the political stew

Do you really trust these guys ?  Why ?
The bill to fund Obamacare and raise the debt limit will probably pass in Congress if President Obama delays implimentation until it's major flaws can be worked out and it includes an acceptable plan to reduce spending and reduce the deficit.  (It never happened)
These two Republican requests would have;

          (1) provided time to fix some of the Obamacare
               problems and

          (2) would have contained an attempt to reduce
            America's fast growing debt.

Both requests were submitted and totally rejected by the Obama Administration. (Why?)

Obama made a big mistake when he forced passage of his (dysfunctional?) healthcare bill. His administration made it impossible to garner bipartisan support. They turned this government proposal into a political pawn and refused to consider any request from Republicans. Then then turned around and blamed the Republicans exclusively for trying to change the bill.

It was the Democrats who were directly responsible.

President Obama stubbornly refused to reduce spending before adding this important legislation to the national debt. Instead, he threatened to shut the government down if passage was refused. He made this obvious effort to black mail Congress and force passage of the clearly flawed Obamacare bill. And he made other threats:

  • There never was a reason to close the National Park Service or the
  • National Monuments,
  • nor was there cause to furlough the Groundskeepers at the White House,
  • Arlington Cemetery, or anywhere else.
All of this was engineered by the Obama Democrats to blame the Republicans  . . . with a special focus on the Tea Party folks. This was no more than Obama-garbage.
